Sad news: EuMGA’s first chairperson, Josipa Gazibara died on March 12 - par Jacky Bismuth (Public Euromyasthenia Website) le 25/03/2010 - 10:35 AM

gazibara.pngIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josipa Gazibara, the first chairperson of the European Federation of MG patients’ Associations (EuMGA). Josipa, a myasthenia patient herself, worked tirelessly towards the improvement of MG patients’ quality of life, writing several MG-related books, organizing summer schools and programs, and initiating regional associations. Josipa’s dream was the creation of a European federation, bringing together MG patients’ associations throughout Europe and she was instrumental in its establishment. She was elected as chairperson during the first EuMGA annual meeting in Paris at the end of last year.

Josipa was also the representative of the Coatian MG Patients’ Association in the EuroMyasthenia network. We shall miss her…

Josipa’s detailed biography translated in English by her friend Nadia Radulescu, representative of the Romanian MGA.
